Balloon Release Saturday 7th June 2008 George Square Glasgow

 

Glasgow and Ayrshire SANDS held a balloon release in memory of all babies who die before, around or shortly after birth. The number of balloons released was 407 relating to the number of babies who died in Scotland last year, figures based on data from the Registrar General Scotland.

 

The day started around 11.00am and the balloons released at 12 noon.
